Unilateral control of the narrative is necessary.

Whether it’s feminists co-opting Christianity in order to fulfill the dictates of female sexuality or liberal professors shifting students’ minds to favor liberalism, the narrative is the list of presumptions that inform our behaviors and tell us what is normative.

Because humans default to fulfilling cellular dictates over the Truth, it is necessary to enforce the Truth from above. Teachers have a sacred duty to educate students in the Truth. Furthermore, this obligates teachers to understand the Truth free from ego-investments.

God is appropriately cruel to those who subvert Christianity. Educators can foil or assist one’s journey in Christ, and not even Jesus minces words when prescribing what to do with calloused, lying snakes:

Matthew 18:6

If anyone causes one of these little ones–those who believe in me–to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.

Luke 17:2

It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.
